Lined Reducing Flange

A lined reducing flange is a specialized piping component designed to connect pipelines of different diameters while providing superior protection against corrosive and aggressive media. Our PFA lined reducing flanges are available in sizes ranging from 25 mm to 300 mm in diameter, with lining thickness varying from 3 mm to 8 mm depending on size.

Material, dimensions and testing standards

Material

Body: D.I. casting as per ASTM A 395, Gr. 60-40-18.
Lining: PFA conforming ASTM D3307; PP conforming ASTM D4101; PVDF conforming ASTM D3222; HDPE conforming ASTM D3350.

Dimensions

Flange as per ANSI B16.42 / ANSI B16.5.
Lining and other dimensional tolerance as per ASTM F1545.
Lining thickness: 3 mm to 8 mm.

Testing

100% visual and dimensional check.
100% spark test at 15 KVDC.
100% hydro test at 29 Kg/cm2, holding for 3 minutes, as per ASTM F1545.
100% lining thickness check (>80% of flaring thickness).
