Material, dimensions and testing standards

Material

  • Body: ASTM A-105 / IS 2062 GR.A.
  • Lining: PTFE conforming ASTM D4895; PFA conforming ASTM D3307; PP conforming ASTM D4101; PVDF conforming ASTM D3222; HDPE conforming ASTM D3350.

Dimensions

  • Flange as per ANSI B16.42 / ANSI B16.5.
  • Lining and other dimensional tolerance as per ASTM F1545.
  • Lining thickness: 3 mm to 7 mm.

Testing

  • 100% visual and dimensional check.
  • 100% spark test at 15 KVDC.
  • 100% hydro test at 29 Kg/cm2, holding for 3 minutes, as per ASTM F1545.
  • 100% lining thickness check (>80% of flaring thickness).
