Introduction

Our PTFE lined jacketed pipe spools range from 25 mm to 300 mm in diameter and are specially designed for handling highly corrosive and temperature-sensitive fluids, combining a chemically resistant internal lining with an external jacket for efficient heating or cooling. The outer jacket, fabricated from Carbon Steel, SS 304, or SS 316, allows circulation of steam, hot oil, or water to maintain precise process temperatures.

Each spool undergoes stringent quality checks such as 100% visual and dimensional inspection, spark testing, and hydrostatic testing, ensuring compliance with ASTM F1545 and other relevant international standards. A variety of lining options are available beyond PTFE, including PP, PVDF, HDPE, and antistatic PTFE lined pipes.

Material

  • Pipe: Seamless Carbon Steel Pipe as per ASTM A106 GR.B, SCH 40 / SCH 30 / SCH 20.
  • Flange: ASTM A-105 / IS 2062 GR.A.
  • Lining: PTFE conforming ASTM D4895; PP ASTM D4101; PVDF ASTM D3222; HDPE conforming ASTM D3350; antistatic PTFE options available.

Dimensions

  • Pipe as per ANSI B36.10.
  • Flange as per ANSI B16.5, 150 Class.
  • Lining and other dimensional tolerances as per ASTM F1545.
  • Lining face thickness: 80% of minimum liner wall thickness.

Testing

  • 100% visual check / dimensional check.
  • 100% spark test at 15 kV DC after lining.
  • 100% hydro test at 29 kg/cm² holding for 3 min, as per ASTM F1545.
  • 100% lining thickness verified (>80% of flaring thickness).
