Product Overview

Application and service highlights

Introduction

PTFE envelope gaskets combine a PTFE outer envelope with a resilient insert to provide corrosion resistance together with improved seating support. They are commonly applied on glass lined equipment and chemical service flanges where media compatibility is critical.

Key Features

  • PTFE envelope shields the insert from corrosive process media.
  • Suitable for glass lined and sensitive flange applications.
  • Improves sealing support where pure PTFE alone may not be preferred.
